Day 70 of 365: God's timing

Today was a good day. Got a lot of things done outside of work, but the best part has yet to come.

I hung out with Eric for dinner, which was good since the last time I did this was...oh, a couple months back? That's unacceptable! Went over to check out his 2005 Ford Mustang GT. Beautiful car! And I'm not one for American. Actually, it's Japanese first, American second and whatever after that. But this Mustang, boy, was it fast! 300 horsepower pulled in a big V8 motor! Now that's half the engine of my Camry, both in horsepower and cylinders. Well, Camry has 158hp, but it's about half. Almost scary to have that much power! Either way, it was a beautiful car! Big and muscular!

We had dinner at Kukje market, at that Korean restaurant. We caught up with our latest news of what happened in the last couple of months and had good hot tofu soup at the same time. Very soothing to have hot soup in cold weather.

After dinner, we just headed back to his house where I checked out the car in more detail. Talked a lot about the car and various others. One thing I do miss is putting parts into cars. The Mustang is one easy car to upgrade just by knowing and looking at it. Envious? Maybe... The thought about the MR-S came, that's for sure... Then the fog lights... Oh gosh.. All in God's timing.
