Day 320 of 365: Medium rare

Today was a long day. Did a lot at work and finished plenty. When working in the outside world, be prepared, young ones, for those that are out to eat you and get the most out of you. The world is not compassionate enough and the church is the only real place where grace resides.

i came home and didn't do much other than to nap for a while. It was tiring, but i know i'm glad that i got more invitation stuff done. What made the day interesting was me going over to Annie's house to cook. Her parents requested for me to cook steak for them with the assumption that i know better. Well, i know they don't like rare or medium rare, so what did i do? Cook the steaks longer and at the end, the meat was a tad too well done. Annie was right. That i should have cooked it medium and have them cook theirs longer. i think i just felt pressured to make something for them. Either way, dinner was...good, thanks to the additional dishes that Annie's parents made to go with the steaks.

Part of the remainder of the night went to more wedding stuff and the rest was just Annie and i watching 'Wipeout'. That show cracks me up all the time. Oh, and we caught some 'Shaq vs...'. That was interesting too, but it felt fake and scripted.
