Day 311 of 365: Japanese donburis

Romans 12:2. Simple verse from the message today, but it is one verse that is clear in what it wants to convey. Christians are not to be conformed to the world and its ideals. To conform is to lose everything that we hold fast in the Lord. It's like a balance. One side is of God's kingdom and the other is of the world. If we remain on the side of the world more and begin to store its treasures, the balance will tip more on the side of the world. Christians can't allow for that to happen. Now that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy the things of the world. What i believe the bible is saying is that we can't let it take control and become our master. God is sovereign ruler!

After service, Annie and i did some shopping. Had lunch at Costco, did some shopping there and at Target, went home to clean up the house and then decided to watch 'Inception'. We thought about going to a certain showing, but it was practically full. After a few weeks, Inception is still sold out? That's crazy! Well, that gave us enough time to have Tani's for dinner. Excellent Japanese donburis! Love them lots!

Inception was GREAT! Watch it if you haven't!
