Day 53 of 365: Super Mario

I got to stay at my desk for the majority of the day, so no annoying patients to deal with...Ok, that's a bad attitude. Ought to see it as an opportunity to work on patience and the practice of holding my tongue before speaking my mind. Even so, it was refreshing to be by myself at work. The silence is inviting. The work, however, is less fun than what it was before. If not, more frustrating to deal with Excel... Lots of changes to an already complicated spreadsheet... I made additional changes on top of what was discussed. Even though it is more to deal with, it's easier on the formulas and the end results are accurate at least. As long as I have the numbers right at the end, I can't argue with the format. Ugly, but functional.

I had dinner with my coworkers that I work close with at Pacific Catch on 9th and Irving. Second time that I've been here. Good food, lots of fish... I particularly enjoy the sweet potato fries. Very tasty! The conversations were pretty random, but mostly about other restaurants and cultural traditions with food in them. I'm glad to be in the company of food enthusiast...

Came home and found my Xbox missing... I didn't trip over it, but know only one person that could walk out of the house with it: Amos... So for the most part of the evening, I went along without my Xbox. Good? I say yes. It's an opportunity to do my BSF homework and spend some time with God. As of now, I have gone without playing my Xbox for...almost 24 hours. That's not a record, but I do feel the withdrawal effects... I am still glad that it was taken away...

When Amos came home, Vincent was with him and apparently, per Kristy's request, they were planning to play the Super Mario theme and record it for a project that Kristy is working on. Very amusing to see Vincent play and mess up a couple of times. Oh, and the music made me want to play Mario...
