Day 49 of 365: Childish accomplishments

Had a meeting with the Medical Director of my clinic regarding a pilot program for the doctors. There were issues that needed attention from the report that I was in charge of updating periodically. The meeting was just a follow-up on how it's working so far and what needs improvement and refinement. This lasted for an hour and a half... Dreadfully confusing to play with Excel formulas, but quite challenging at the same time.

Had an early dinner before heading out for the TNT meeting. I made an attempt to finish Modern Warfare, a game that I was about to lose my hair from. The challenge that the developers set for gamers is almost as though they don't want you to finish the game. Frustrating to the point where I gave up a couple of times and watched TV, but something strange pushed me to try again. I went at it again and made it pass the point that I was stuck at. What relief, but that doesn't mean I can relax. I know it isn't long before the game is complete, so I push further until I got it! Great ending to a long story and there goes those words and names that crawl up the screen, also known as credits! I was even more relieved to know that I finally finished a game! A childish accomplishment, if you like to call it.

The meeting was productive, but awkward without Annie there. I don't know why, but there just isn't a lot to talk about... Oh, Ben asked me about organizing a paintball outing for his office, but realized that the Burlingame field closed down... I'm really disappointed because I actually plan on going maybe twice a month during the weekdays.

Came home after that and chilled for a while...pondered during that time too, but I can't seem to get my thoughts together...next time maybe...
