Day 32 of 365: Some discrepancies

So today was gradually lighter than last week. There are some residual callers asking about the H1N1 vaccines and strangely, it's mostly Chinese patients. New Challenge of the week: learning how to say H1N1 in Chinese. It's A-something-something... Or using the pig character...Ju? Anyway, it was relatively easy-going day. I did get bored at one point. Oh, and I had a lot of work that I had to put in towards the end of the day after I was relieved. So much that I couldn't do last week now rest this week.

New coworker started today. Pauline Lee, which is the second Pauline Lee in the clinic. So there are two of them now. That will be interesting to watch.

I drove leisurely around to do some errands. One of which is to drop by my favorite store: Target. I was in the hunt for Brita filters because I couldn't find where the other spare ones were. My mom probably hid it somewhere... Anyway, I thought about Transformers the movie and having the urge to walk down memory lane with that movie. Please don't get this one confused with the Michael Bay junk, although I still like the way them animate the transformation. This movie is the Transformers first full length movie! It's animated and has a great story! Or at least, by my standards. I cried watching that as a kid since someone died in that movie. Well, back to Target... I didn't find the animated movie, but I did find Revenge of the Fallen, Michael Bay's latest piece. I remember telling himself that I didn't want to get the DVD because I didn't like the movie much. Guess what? I got it anyway... I feel like I'm a sucker for Transformers... Pretty cool either way.

Had dinner while watching it and I already found some discrepancies with the movie. Seriously, I think movie producers should just hire me to look out for these little mistakes that make the movie suck a little by taking the realism away from the joy of watching the film and make you wonder why such things could happen and make you say it's impossible. Vincent came over shortly and Amos, Vince and I watched the movie together.

After the movie, shower and taking out the trash. Sorry Annie that I didn't pick your call up... I think it was in the midst of these tasks.
