Day 36 of 365: BSF philosophy

I like rain...mostly when I'm inside and dry. Sucks when I have to go out and even with an umbrella, I still manage to get wet. Either way, work was slow and easy today. Still have free lunch from yesterday's leftovers. I'm thankful to have food in general, even if the noodles were clumped together. Oh, we finally put money down on the wedding photographer!

I went to Target after work to pick up popcorn for tonight's fellowship since it was planned for a movie night. Had 'Wall-E', 'Enchanted', 'Mrs. Doubtfire', and 'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs'. Ended up watching 'Enchanted', which I don't mind, but the guys seem to fear losing their manliness. Either way, it was fun and they loved it regardless of the cheesy lines and singing princess.

This is the first night for Annie in the High School fellowship. It was a tad awkward not having her with the TNTers, but I know that she is ready for High School. We may not think that we're capable of doing certain things that God called us to do, but all that is needed is faith like a mustard seed and God will do the rest. Easy said than done... I know I'm burnt out from what...7 years of ministry? It is starting to wear out... Not so much of the joy of serving, but rather the physical strength and the line between leader and friend. Where do you draw the line and say that leaders discipline the students, but still be able to be there for them as a counselor? All I can say is that I'm ready to pass the baton to someone else, but if God calls me to continue on my path, I will. Question is, will I obey with joy?

Dang...this sounds like BSF philosophy...
