Last day of work...today. i must say it is somewhat depressing that i don't have work. No work means no money and no money means no luxuries. i don't want to always be dependent, but in terms of dependency on God, it's necessary, but in all cases, even the good ones.
i didn't do much work on the slide show today. Had too much on my mind. Instead, i did some reading on Philip Yancey's "What's so amazing about grace". Quite a book for those who need to reflect on grace and what it means to you. So far, the book acts as a mirror for me. Revealing that which i'm not.
i went to Annie's for dinner and her parents made simple noodles, jook and dumplings. A lot of food. So much to do suddenly when my parents called in to add more guests, but something doesn't feel right.
