Last day before Mom flies back. Now just a thought. If we all know when our loved ones are going to be gone forever, would you spend every moment will them? Seriously, funernals are wake up calls, ironically, to the living that life is short. The trouble is that we live in dreams where we refuse to wake up. We get too comfort and wish to remain in a happy zone for a while. Treasure every moment.
Starting the day with breakfast, breakfast with family at Stack's. Actually, it should be brunch since we didn't eat until 11:30 am. Surprisingly good food. Mom got this dish called the Eggs Louis and it's pretty much an Eggs Benedict with crab instead of ham. After our meal, we went to Target to get some last minute stuff for Mom. Then to Walgreen's at West Lake to look for other things and to Sunset Super for grocieries. We got home shortly and pretty much gave some time for Mom to pack. She went out again to get more stuff that we missed. i just did my workout, but without the video on.
Dinner was at the Hanoi Bistro. Mom was craving crab, so we tried theirs. Not bad for crab. It was simple, but good time spent with Mom. Now...i going to spend more time with her.
